Voter Registration and Get-Out-the-Vote Training (1-day)
Background/Goal: Since 2003, the SET Project has partnered with the Student PIRGs’ New Voters Project, the largest non-partisan youth voter mobilization project in U.S. history. In 2012, the New Voters Project’s efforts on campuses across the country registered over 100,000 young voters and made over 300,000 personal voting reminders to students in the days leading up to the election.
The goal of this training is to bring our expertise on youth voter mobilization to your campus, training your SGA members in the skills and strategies to run a successful non-partisan student voter mobilization drive.
